Search Wizard

This is one of the most powerful tools that ShufflePlay offers. You will have better luck finding your MP3s with this than anything Microsoft Windows can offer. Not only can you search for text in the filename, but you can specify to search in the MP3's title, artist, album, year, genre, bitrate, or comment fields, too!

Not only is the matching criteria robust, but so is the folder criteria. You have a choice of any real (hard drive, CD-ROM, network) drive, any virtual drive, or even both!

Searching for files that have been created in the last 5 days? Between Christmas and New Year's? Larger than 6 megs? Smaller than 2 megs? No problem! Use the criteria from the Size/Date tab.

Complete the Search by pressing Enter or the Search button, and watch ShufflePlay do the rest. You can right-click on the results to move them to the Playlist, cut/copy them to the clipboard, or just clear them out and try looking again.

The Search window will remember your last 15 queries and paths.  And to make things even easier, it will auto-complete based on those previous queries.   You're going to like this :)
