Remote Control

Rounding out ShufflePlay's many talents, we have the Remote Control functions.

The remote control menu will only display as many functions as it will support for the player you chose in the Setup wizard. Currently, the best supported player is Winamp with all the functions you see at left.

You will notice that many of the remote functions are mapped to they keyboard. This comes in very handy for functions like volume and scanning a track.  As mentioned in the User Interface section, you should memorize the keyboard mappings for sending playback commands. It will make your listening sessions that much easier.

Currently Supported players are Winamp, Sonique, K-Jofol, Nad, and Winplay3. However, only Winamp has the remote-capability as seen above. The rest are largely limited to playlist execution and basic (play/stop/pause/next/previous) playback remote control.
