ShufflePlay 2.70
March 27, 2001
Bugs fixed since 2.63:
- bugfix: stayed in memory after closing
New features:
- Sequential tag capability! Tag your files one by one
without pressing F2 incessantly.
- OutroPlay mode: helps you check for completed downloads
quickly
- VBR indication in bitrate field. Will not work on
virtual drives or caches created under versions prior to 2.70.
- Progress indicator while scanning open folder for songs
- Status bar now uses your Explorer font, too.
- Saves search results to drive tree (session only). From
there, you can cut, copy, move, tag, or drag/drop them as you
please.
- Optionally stores song data inside playlist. Saving is
a little slower, but loading is noticably faster (especially for
large lists). And it's Winamp friendly, too! (Default mode for new
installations.)
- Minor visual improvements (like a # caption for the
Track column in the Playlist view)
- Displays disk free space in Files summary
- Remembering last playlist also remembers filename and saved
status.
- Expanded drag&drop capability with automatic scrolling
and expanding.
- Drag & drop folders from inside ShufflePlay to add
songs into playlist.
- Improved overall interface performance using various
code tweaks.
- Remembers previous min/norm/max/tray status.
- Move/Copy files from files listing to another folder using
drag & drop.
- Rearrange files within playlist using drag & drop.
- Move/Copy files from playlist to another folder using drag
& drop.
- When idle, automatically saves cache and v-drives if
necessary. This makes shutdown even faster in some instances.
- Sped up ID3v1 genre-related code.
